This German Player Is FIFA 17's First New Global Cover Athlete

  • One on the surprising stories of FIFA 17 is the fact Lionel Messi will not be the global cover star. Messi has been about the series' covers for that past four years, but this current year, a different athlete has taken over. Publisher EA announced today that this FIFA 19 Coins German player Marco Reus has won the top's vote.

    FIFA 17 launches on September 27 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
