  • Fortnite has one of the most aggressive upgrade programs in the business, and it's clear that upgrading a game so frequently can cause all kinds of unexpected problems to develop. Last extended downtime was caused by mistakes that caused a disproportionate quantity of database questions, and Epic went into Fortnite materials some fairly extreme detail explaining exactly what was happening.
